"I cannot put into words how amazing, inspiring and useful Jen’s help and guidance were. She definitely has loads of ‘neat ideas’!

Disaster Zone to Family Room
"After a quick discussion Jen listened to the issues and frustrations I had with the house, and the dreams we had had when we bought it but had never quite realised. She managed to immediately crystallise everything I had said into one distinct point: that we had a whole downstairs room that was as dysfunctional as it was disorganised, and was an under-used and wasted space.

"Within minutes Jen had her sleeves rolled up and was getting on with the job in hand. To say she was thorough is the understatement of the year – we sorted every basket of toys, removing any that were misplaced or broken, giving others to charity and even packing some away so they could be missed and played with again at a later date. We even did every single jigsaw to ensure that no pieces were missing, and Jen came up with the ingenious idea of photographing each one so that they could slot into organised boxes and packets. Games were filed vertically for easy access, and the whole room was quickly transformed into a functional, organised and clear space. We did not stop there! Jen had heard me talking about my eventual, longer-term plan to move some of the furniture into a different room, and before I knew it the furniture was shifted! So everything I had dreamed of, and way more besides, was finished within the day! Jen even sorted the drawers of the furniture we moved so that even batteries were categorised and organised into their own tidy areas. And now that everything is labelled, I haven’t had to tidy up after the children once! This has saved me bags of time and gives me lots of opportunities for praising the children as they are now able to tidy nearly everything away after themselves, age just 3 and 4!

"The whole process even inspired me to repaint the walls and fireplace and add a few plants to make it feel more of a family room than just a toy storage area! The difference? We now have a whole new room to hang out in during the day and from the word go the whole family has begun to hang out in there – which has also meant our original sitting room is always beautifully tidy, a lovely retreat at the end of the day!

Kitchen
"While I was still excitedly enjoying my new family room, Jen returned to help with my next focus: the kitchen. It is no exaggeration to say that through the amazing reorganisation process my kitchen literally feels as if it has doubled in size. (We had thought we would definitely have to extend as it was too small – now I even have a spare cupboard!) Jen’s ingenious ideas for categorising everything by how often it is used, along with amazing tips for accessing the backs of cupboards and storing difficult bulky items has left us with stacks of space – and it has stayed that way! Even my fridge now accommodates everything it used to and more – and there are no more avalanches! Jen’s amazing ideas really do work and have made such a difference to daily stress levels…

"Not only that but my kitchen just looks beautiful – clear, clean, organised but still with my own personal touches. My friends have actually gasped at the difference Jen has made.

Spreading like wildfire…
"Jen’s ideas and tips were so useful, and the transformation of the kitchen and family room were so dramatic that I was really motivated to continue throughout the house. Now each room has a distinct personality and function, I can reach and find everything I need, and so can my family! Everything from my understairs (from a desperate cave of junk with the hoover at the back – now a tranquil organised oasis with everything in easy reach) to the children’s toyboxes are now beautifully organised. And I’ve noticed I now wear tons more of my shoes (now in boxes), accessories etc now that they are organised.

"At first I thought I knew exactly what I wanted to do and that I merely lacked time: in fact I did consider myself to be quite organised. However, what I did not realise was that Jen would be so much more than just a helping hand or fresh pair of eyes – she had absolutely phenomenal yet simple ideas for organising, streamlining and simplifying the way we live our lives and organise our home – a million times better than just having a friend or mum to lend a helping hand! These tiny tweaks have made an enormous difference… And best of all it is extremely easy to keep everywhere super-clean and tidy now.
